should tragedy strike
Well here it is - the Keep In Mind list for Advent Collective! :) Please feel free to add your name to the list for any subjects in which you're interested. A list of all the fanlistings I currently own can be found
here. If you're not sure about what a KIMlist is, please see the link below.
What the heck is a KIMlist? »
KIMlist stands for "Keep In Mind" list - it is simply a record of people who have expressed an interest in taking care of a particular listing. It allows fanlisting owners to ease the process of adoption by serving as a sort of rolodex complete with possible adoptees and their information. Getting on the list doesn't guarantee that you will get a listing if it comes up for adoption, but it does mean that you will be considered before other applicants. (Previous owners are usually an exception. If they decide they want a fanlisting back, they often get it regardless of the KIM List or other applicants.)
Different fanlisting owners have different styles and requirements for their KIMlists and some don't have them at all. My KIMlist is open to anyone who can provide a name, email address, and website - you don't even have to know me. However (I'm about to give away a HUGE hint so if you took the time to read this, consider yourself lucky), I'm more likely to give a fanlisting to someone who has shown me how much they love the subject in some way - whether they are on my KIMlist or not. This means that when you ask me to be on the list, you should definitely take the time to explain to me why you want to be KIM'ed. Requests with explanations usually go to the top of the pile - this is very important if I don't know anything about you. ;)
